Membership of CMCF is open to any community organisation (incorporated association), individual or corporation that has an interest in the multicultural community.
There are three classes of membership: full, associate and corporate. A community organisation can be either a full member or an associate member. An individual can only become an associate member.
A full member (community organisation) has voting rights of one vote. A community organisation is to be represented by a nominated delegate.
An associate member has no voting rights. A community association is to be represented by a nominated delegate. An associate member has the right to vote and hold committee positions on the executive committee of CMCF.
A corporate member has no voting rights and is not eligible to hold committee positions on the executive committee of CMCF.
CMCF runs a group public liability policy for member associations in the ACT and Queanbeyan area. Members must be financial to participate, and the policy runs for 12 months.
An application for membership (CMCF New Member Form) should be completed and forwarded to email@example.com The application will be considered at the next Executive Committee meeting following receipt of the application. Upon approval and receipt of the joining fee and annual subscription the applicant will be issued with a membership number and a letter of confirmation of membership.
Membership can be renewed by submitting the completed renewal form (CMCF-Membership-Renewal-Form) to firstname.lastname@example.org
